Today marked the last day of De La Salle week and the last week before Easter break. I have yet to start my essay for English 5. I’m not feeling to bad about that and I’m not going to focus on that at all. Instead, I am going to tell you about how I raised over $34 in four hours for Invisible Children. It was very simple – all I had to do was ask. I know some very lovely people in my residence hall and online so it wasn’t too difficult to raise money.
I love it. All this kindness really fills me with hope. If there ever was a generation that could run on blind idealism, it would be us. We just need a swift kick in the rear end to get us started.
